The L Hanging A ranch is located in the south central Montana, 15 miles northwest of Red Lodge. We have been raising commercial beef cattle as our main focus for five generations. The desired to breed and raise quality ranch horses led us to acquiring a small herd of mares and one stallion. We have also artificially bred a couple mares each year. Our goal is to produce gentle, sound and eye appealing colts that have mind enough for all the ranch chores and will also work for other disciplines as well.
